Residential Camps

Camp SEA Lab residential camps give youth, ages 10-13, an in depth opportunity to experience the wonders of marine environment. Our residential programs vary by theme, but allow for all campers to dive deeper into marine conservation and career topics by visiting more research centers and participating in longer field experiences. From slough to sea, Camp SEA Lab partners with multiple marine organizations along the coast to provide the best possible program for our participants. Health and safety are always our primary concern, and each site is selected for their commitment to maintaining a safe environment.

Campers arrive on day 1 eager and curious about the ocean, the friends they will make, and the staff they will meet for the week. Dynamic lessons, games, field trips, and on the water experiences keep campers busy during the day, while they enjoy night hikes, songs and s'mores around a campfire at night! By day 5, campers are filled with knowledge and experience involving our coasts and ocean, have actively participated as members of a team, and are ready to spread the word to friends and family about why the marine environment is so cool!

Lodging is located at California State University Monterey Bay to provide campers college experience and exposure to the beautiful Monterey Bay coastline. Campers will be housed in campus dorm rooms and will always have roommates grouped by age and gender. Camp SEA Lab staff will oversee supervision 24 hours a day. Every camper receives a camp T-shirt free with tuition!
