Camp Policies

How to Register

Registration is done on a first-come, first-served basis, and takes place on-line. Sorry, no phone-in registrations available. If you are unable to register on-line, please call our office for assistance at (831) 582-3681.

To reserve your child's place in camp, a 25% non-refundable deposit must be paid per child for each session of camp. All balance payments are due May 1st. Any registrations accepted after May 1st require a full camp tuition payment.

Confirmation & Payment

Once your child is registred, you will receive a confirmation email. Included you will find important information and forms required to be completed for your child's participation in Camp SEA Lab. All forms must be received 4 weeks prior to start of your camp. All balance payments are due May 1st. On-line registration requires a credit card payment. Further payments can be made as cash, check, money order, or credit card.

Cancellations & Refunds

If your child is enrolled and unable to participate in camp, the Camp SEA Lab office must be notified in writing as soon as possible.

If written cancellation is more than 4 weeks prior to the start of camp, the total amount, minus the non-refundable deposit, will be returned. If cancellation is less than 4 weeks prior to the start of your camp, we reserve the right to retain the entirety of the tuition, but at our discretion we give the following refund options:

If a replacement is found from our waitlist:

  • We can refund the total amount, minus the non-refundable deposit.

If a replacement is not found:

  • Cancellation for a medical issue with a physician's letter, we can refund the total amount minus the non-refundable deposit.
  • Cancellation for a child/family emergency, we can refund 25% tuition and Camp SEA Lab retains 75%.

It is our policy that no refunds be granted in connection with late arrivals, early departures, camper dismissals due to misconduct or illness, or canceled activities due to weather or other unforeseen conditions. Registration is non-transferable. 


Camp SEA Lab is committed to offering the value of camp for all children. Please do not let financial hardship keep your child from attending. Limited scholarship funds are available for first-time campers only. Priority will be given to families whose income falls within the free or reduced lunch guidelines. Scholarships are limited to one camp session per child, but can be granted to multiple children within the same family.

To apply, please complete the scholarship application and submit the required income documentation. A minimum of 25% of the camp tuition is required. Deadline to apply for scholarships is April 1st, or until all available funds are allocated.


Camp SEA Lab offers a variety of tuition discounts for families:

Multi-child: receive $50 off tuition of additional siblings. The first child registration is at full cost, with additional registrations receiving the discount that will be automatically applied during the initial registration process.

Multi-session: receive $50 off tuition of additional camps. The first camp registration is at full cost, with additional registrations receiving the discount that will be automatically applied during the initial registration process.

Active US Military personnel and current CSUMB employees: Eligible families can receive $50 off tuition on the first registered camp, but must contact our office to be pre-approved with valid military ID or CSUMB employment verification. Other discounts above could also apply to additional camp registrations.

If you wish to register your child for additional camps or register another sibling after your initial registration is completed, call our office at (831) 582-3681 for assistance in receiving relevant discounts.

Shuttle Service

Camp SEA Lab provides shuttle service during day camp programs for participants for an additional fee of $50 per week. Daily pick up and drop off is available in Salinas at Hwy 68/Blanco Rd. and is non-refundable as of the Friday prior to the start of your camp. Transportation details, including times and locations, will be sent with your confirmation packet.

Participant Quota Requirement

Camp SEA Lab operates on a required minimum number of registered campers for each session offered. If you register your child in a session and the minimum numbers cannot be met, you will be notified up to 2 weeks prior to the start of the session that it will be canceled due to low enrollment and a full refund (including deposit) will be offered. We sincerely apologize for any inconvenience this may cause in your summer plans.
