Family Programs

Camp SEA Lab offers weekend Family Programs throughout the year for kids (ages 5 and up) and parents. Our programs are specially designed to blend educational activities with just plain fun! We deliver hands-on science and art activities so families will get to learn about the ocean and make great new friends along the way.

Family Programs are offered throughout the Monterey Bay area, and vary in activities and themes. Past programs have covered topics such as:

• fish anatomy
• sea turtles and conservation
• wetland studies
• kayak adventures
• scientific illustration
• plankton adaptations
• marine mammals

Inspiring continued learning and encouraging parents to participate in the education of their children often facilitates successful learning experiences for all. Because of this, children are more likely to pursue further knowledge and remain engaged in the educational process throughout their life.
